Annually, Abacus School of Austin, honors grandparents with a celebration! Grandparents are invited to milk and cookies and each classroom has an extra special treat as well. Some of the classrooms sing songs, perform skits, present crafts, and distribute cards. This is an Abacus Event that the children and grandparents thoroughly enjoy. For those children whose grandparents live too far to attend the event, we encourage special friends to join us.
This year, our Grandparents Day Celebration is on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 3:00 to 3:30 for Infants, Toddlers and Young Preschool and 3:30 to 4:00 for Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten.
