My name is Katie McClure and I am the Curriculum Manager for Abacus School of Austin. My passion for early childhood education has led me to pursue a career at Abacus, a school with a strong foundation for teacher support and making learning fun and exciting. I have been working with children for the last 20 years. I have experience working in non-profit afterschool programs all over Austin. Before coming to Abacus, I have been working exclusively in early childhood as an educator and director. My favorite part about working with children is building a family within the classroom. I believe children should be provided an environment where children feel accepted and individuality is encouraged as well as being nurtured and loved.
