Inside Our Early Childhood Education Classrooms
We take great care to hire degreed early education professionals with a passion for passing along the virtues and pleasures of learning to your children. Every classroom has a lead teacher and an additional teacher to keep the ratio low. We pride ourselves on the high level of individual attention we can give to children at every age-level.

I have worked with children for over 20 years and have specialized in infant care for 10 years. I enjoy seeing them reach so many milestones: from rolling to sitting up to walking.
I was formerly a Kindergarten teacher’s assistant, and have now been at Abacus working with our infants for a year. I love watching them learn and grow.
I love working with children because I love to see them grow and see how much they can learn and become independent. It is amazing!
I have over seven years of experience working in early childhood education. I love to see how children learn to talk, communicate, and express their feelings.
I have worked with children for many years through Summer Day Camps as a youth counselor, and as a coach in the Special Olympics. I also have three children of my own.
I have worked in the child care field for about eight years. This is my calling. I love working with children because I love their imagination and goofy personalities.
I love working with children because I like knowing that I have been a part of helping them learn and grow. I have worked in childcare for five years.
I attained my Child Development Associate (CDA) and have spent the last six years working with infants through Pre-Kindergartners.

I began my teaching career as a substitute teacher in Leander ISD, and have now been at Abacus for two years. It is fantastic seeing each child’s growth and knowing that you are a part of it.
I have worked in early childhood since I was 16 and have been a lead teacher since 19. It is amazing working with young children and seeing them suddenly “get it”.
